Chrissy Pingitore, a Canadian who spent most of her life in Texas, began playing with metals and jewelry after she located to Chicago, IL. After graduating with a degree in Public Relations and Marketing, she went on to work in the corporate world of Health Care. Wanting to spark her creative side- she began taking classes at the Lill Street Art Center in Chicago after work. She then went on to learn more techniques and the TAC the Art Center Highland park, IL. Loving what she had learned she decided to start fabricating and making silver jewelry in her kitchen (not advised). Her friends and family started buying pieces right off of her, and thus Christina P Jewelry was born. Chrissy now has her garage studio in Lake Forest, IL.
Philosophy
To be honest, I hate fussy jewelry!! I started designing pieces because I couldn't find anything simple that I could wear everyday. Jewelry should be uncomplicated, comfortable, and feminine. It should catch peoples attention, but not in a negative way.
The inspiration comes from the combination of nature and humanity, the balance of imperfection and beauty in its own handcrafted way.

Every piece is handmade from sterling silver, precious stones, and 14k gold-filled metal.
